Markers, bivouacs and nice surprises: recos are no rest!

From March 19th to April 4th, a team of enthusiasts took to the Moroccan trails to bring the 100% RAS adventure to life. Aboard four all-terrain vehicles, the race director, his deputy, and a few loyal companions set out to test, adjust, and validate on the ground what, until then, only existed on screen: the route for the next edition.

These reconnaissances, or “recos,” are a crucial step. It’s at this precise moment that the virtual kilometers transform into real trails, that the GPS points become visible markers, and that the itinerary takes on its full meaning. The goal? To create reliable, precise road books, and, above all, those that reflect the spirit of the 100% RAS. But that’s not all: it’s also about selecting the accommodations that will welcome the participants each evening, after a day of adventure and challenge.

Between desert, mountains, remote villages, and star-studded bivouacs, the team is carefully preparing an unforgettable experience, meeting the expectations of all lovers of navigation, mechanical challenges, and conviviality.

Coming soon: some images and anecdotes from this mission, which resembles a mini-raid…
